About

April Langford founded AML Consulting after spending over 25 years at UPMC, leading the Revenue Cycle and developing a for-profit company Ovation Revenue Cycle services in January 2012, a provider-proven, results-driven organization.

April’s diverse background as a healthcare professional provides a wealth of experience to AML Consulting. While at UPMC, she directed both hospital and corporate level divisions, including Revenue Cycle, Quality and Medical Management, Clinical Case Management, Clinical Business Analysis, and Physician Services Recruitment and Office of Physician Relations.

April graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Accounting. She has since been certified as a public accountant (CPA) and holds an MBA from University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business. She is also a lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
